- Chapter 15 of NFPA 70B-2026 covers low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers; section 15.3 holds the periodic maintenance procedures for molded-case, insulated-case and low-voltage power circuit breakers, and section 15.4 those for medium-voltage power circuit breakers.
- Table 15.3.5 of NFPA 70B-2026 lists the electrical tests for molded-case, insulated-case and low-voltage power circuit breakers, among them infrared thermography, contact resistance, insulation resistance, trip-unit calibration, inverse-time and instantaneous trip tests, rated hold-in, millivolt drop and, where applicable, arc reduction technology.
